P.V.C.U. windows are manufactured from a 70m profile, and we strengthen what B.S.I. requires., with aluminium inserts. The P.V.C.U. is guaranteed not to go yellow, we advise however to keep the windows/doors looking good by wiping over with soapy water every 4-6 months. All bay window poles have a jacking base which sits on to the brick, coming up through the P.V.C.U.cill. The outer cill has a deep bull nose effect which gives a thicker look. Internal beading is used, which gives the security of not being able to remove the sealed units from outside. We incorporate fire escape hinged windows where required.
Aluminium White Thermal Break aluminum gives a slimmer look than PVC windows, we have different sections for different situations. This also is fitted brick-brick-giving no real maintenance just as the PVC.
Bay windows are additionally strengthened conforming to FENSA regulations.
For a very special appearance we can incorporate "False Vents" into the fixed glass areas. This will create a balanced look to the design of all your windows.
Handle/Locks We use push-button self locking handles which have a key operation for extra security. There is a choice of handles to choose from. The locking mechanism comprises two shoot bolts which slide in opposite directions. The shoot-bolt has exceeded the requirements of B.S.E.N. 1670 and BS 7950.
